Terms of service

These terms apply to all purchases from EasyClose (easyclose.store). By placing an order you accept these terms. Your statutory consumer rights always apply and are not limited by these terms.

1. Seller

2. Orders and contract

The order is binding once you have completed payment and received an order confirmation by email. We may cancel an order if a product is unavailable or a price is clearly wrong; in that case you receive a full refund.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in your local currency and include VAT where required. Shipping is free. Depending on your country, import VAT, duties or customs fees may be charged on delivery; these are paid by the buyer unless stated otherwise at checkout. Payment is taken when the order is placed.

4. Delivery

Orders are shipped with tracking. Estimated delivery is 7–15 business days within Europe and 10–20 business days to the rest of the world. If your order has not arrived within 30 days of the order date, contact us and we will resend or refund it. The risk for the goods passes to you when you receive them. 5. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

As a consumer you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the Norwegian Cancellation Act (angrerettloven) and EU consumer law. Contact us by email before returning anything. We refund the full payment, including the original shipping cost, within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, but we may wait until the item is returned. You pay the cost of returning the item. 6. Faulty items and complaints

You have the right to complain about defects under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven): normally 2 years, or 5 years for goods meant to last considerably longer. Contact us within a reasonable time after you discover the fault, with a photo or short video. We will repair, replace or refund the item at no cost to you.

7. Product use and safety

Follow the installation and safety instructions included with the product. The door closer is not suitable for fire doors, and fingers must be kept clear of the closing door. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation or use contrary to the instructions, except where the law says otherwise.

8. Personal data

We process personal data only to handle your order and as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disputes

Please contact us first and we will try to solve the problem. Consumers in Norway can also contact Forbrukertilsynet / the Norwegian Consumer Authority (forbrukertilsynet.no), and the Consumer Council’s mediation service (forbrukerradet.no). EU customers can use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform or the European Consumer Centre. Norwegian law applies, but this does not remove any mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The terms in force when you placed your order apply to that order.
